“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians 6:9 NLT
During January’s Jewels N’ Abundance Outreach Real Talk, Minister Denise Bethea delivered an encouraging word entitled, “Hold On, Victory Will Be Yours!” She reminded us that God loves us so much that no matter what we go through He will be right there with us strengthening our inner man with His power. Nothing we go through can separate us from Him, and we are to have rock solid faith and complete confidence in God. It was a timely word, in that so many of us choose January to start new things or re-kindle past dreams. We all know that when life happens there will be obstacles and discouraging moments that will try to prevent us from moving forward. The testing of our faith shows us what we really believe.
While she was speaking, the Lord prompted me to write this blog. He wants you to know that He will preserve you when you persevere. There will be trials, challenges and difficult moments, but there will be nothing wasted and everything gained. He promises to maintain you, keep you and protect you from injury, harm or destruction. Don’t faint! Press on! Have no fear because He will not fail you.
So this year, I encourage you to be bold and persistent despite the obstacles you face. The Lord will go before you and make your crooked places straight. Don’t let go of your hopes and dreams. The promise may be delayed, but it will not be denied!
I will be still and know that you are God. I trust in your power and the strength of your righteous right hand. I declare I have victory on this day. I will persevere through my fears and my obstacles. I surrender my ways and thoughts unto you. You are such a loving God, and I cry out to you for guidance and protection. I trust in your plans for my life, business, career and family. In my weak times you make me strong. I will cross the finish line in victory! Thank you that your goodness and mercy endures forever.
In Jesus, name. Amen.
Join us for the next teaching in January!
